ArborVantage LLC is a small, family owned business that has been proudly serving the Central Wisconsin Area since 2008. On January 1, 2020, Steve Hollar, one of the original co-founders of ArborVantage LLC and ArborVantage Nursery LLC (established in 2012),and his wife Ashley acquired complete ownership of ArborVantage LLC. Steve and Ashley now own and operate the tree care business, with their team.

Steve and Ashley both grew up in Sherry, WI.
Steve found his passion for tree care in 2001, he then enrolled in the Urban Forestry Program at MSTC and graduated in December of 2003. Steve is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist and a Licensed Pesticide Applicator. Steve does majority of our client's bids, but when he's not doing estimates, he's working right along side of the crew.
Ashley left her career as an Ultrasonographer to take care of the day to day administrative responsibilities for ArborVantage. Ashley has a passion for small businesses, she grew up being a part of two, local, family owned businesses.
Steve and Ashley married in 2010, and have three sons. They enjoy camping, fishing,
home projects and time with their family.
Cole graduated with a
Bachelor's Degree in Urban Forestry from UW-Stevens Point in 2016.
He joined the ArborVantage crew in
May of 2016.
For five years, he worked with Steve on the crew every day. He has learned the ins and outs of residential tree care, has become proficient at crane removals and takes great pride in his work.
In 2020, Cole became the Lead Arborist at ArborVantage.
Cole enjoys hunting, fishing, and golfing in his spare time.
Brian is a graduate of UW Stevens Point with a Bachelor's Degree in Forestry Management.
Brian became a part of the ArborVantage team in August of 2020. His previous experience as a Forester in central Wisconsin brings value to the teams knowledge.
He also is a Licensed Pesticide Applicator Professional. Brian enjoys being outside, seeing and evaluating the different tree species.
Out side of work Brian enjoys spending time with his family, playing softball, hunting and working on demo cars.
George started his education in personal fitness, but soon realized his passion for urban forestry.
George joined our team in Fall of 2021.
Since 2016, he has worked in utility line clearance, residential and commercial tree care settings. When first starting in the industry George was amazed and excited about the climbing techniques tree trimmers perform.
He quickly grew a passion and determination to learn to climb too. He has a love for trees and really loves climbing them.
George, his gorgeous wife, and two wonderful stepsons reside in Arkdale ,WI on their own little slice of heaven with 4 horses, 2 dogs and 3 cats. Outside of work he enjoys fishing, boating, horseback riding and doing projects at home.
Grapple Truck Operator
John became a part of ArborVantage in the spring of 2019.
He is an important part of our team, making sure each job is left without debris or hazards as well as helping make sure our equipment runs smoothly.
John graduated from Auburndale High School, and grew up with experience in the dairy industry as well as agriculture. He has many years of experience driving and maintaining heavy equipment and trucks.
Outside of work John enjoys hunting, fishing, and riding his UTV. He also enjoy's camping and pontooning with his wife, children, and dogs.
Noah came to ArborVantage in April of 2021, after an 18 year career in law enforcement. He is a driven and goal oriented person who has excellent communication and
problem solving skills. Noah enjoys interacting with clients and members of the public who may have questions about the tasks being completed. Noah strives to be the best at everything he does, has a great attitude, and has rapidly adapted to his new career and role.
Noah lives in Loyal, WI with is wife and two children. He enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and many other outdoor activities.
Clayton joined the ArborVantage team in June of 2021.
He's enrolled in Mid-State Technical College's Urban Forestry Program, and wishes to become an Arborist.
Working for ArborVantage during his education increases exposure to the work place and allows him to have the ultimate education experience.
Before Clayton came to ArborVantage he had worked one year with another tree care company in NorthWestern Wisconsin.
Outside of work Clayton enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with family.
